Chrystal Martin Thornton is the President of C. Martin Law, P.A.  She has a vast amount of legal experience in family law and personal injury matters. She takes a sensitive, yet professional approach to guiding her clients through the toughest of legal matters. Ms. Martin Thornton is a dedicated attorney who practices with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

She was born in Salisbury, North Carolina. In 1986, Ms. Martin Thornton moved to Lakeland, Florida where she attended local schools in the Polk County area. In 2002, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major concentration of study in Economics from the prestigious Duke University. In 2005, Ms. Martin Thornton obtained her law degree from The Florida State University College of Law. While at The Florida State University College of Law, she participated in the legal study abroad program at Oxford University in Oxford, England during the summer of 2003.

Upon completion of her legal studies, Ms. Martin Thornton was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2005 and returned to Polk County to practice and help give back to the community that helped her along the way. In 2010, Ms. Martin Thornton opened C. Martin Law, P.A assisting clients in personal injury and family law matters.

In 2024, Ms. Martin Thornton obtained her certification as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
